~What We Believe~

At Fairbanks Baptist Church, we believe that the Bible is our foundation for everything that we do, not traditions. We strive to be Gospel-Centered in every aspect of our practices, teachings, and public and private actions performed under our name. Being held by the Bible as our basis of faith and practice, here are the essentials we unite under:

~Bible Centered~

We believe the Bible consisting of both the Old and New Testament are inspired by God. We believe He has worked unseen in preserving His Word unto us in many languages worldwide. Thus, we do not hold to the belief of preeminence of any one translation of the Bible.

~Christ-Centered~

We believe that God is a triune God, consisting of God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. All three being unique in their existence but equal to the entity of God miraculously and indescribably.

We believe that Jesus Christ is both 100% God and 100% Man, being born by the Virgin Mary of that time and conceived miraculously by the Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Bible, as a sacrifice. We believe all who by faith receive Him as their personal Savior are declared right with God on the ground of His blood shed on Calvary, are born again of the Holy Spirit, and thereby become eternally secure as children of God.

We believe Jesus Christ is going to come back for His Church before what the Bible calls The Great Tribulation and the bringing of Jesus reign on Earth for 1,000 years.

~Church Centered~

We believe our church is not the building itself but instead the incredible families that constitute its assembly. We are one family composed simply of sinners that are saved by grace. We wish to connect with our community and invite others to a relationship with Jesus Christ.
